Today Corsair has launched its latest gaming headset in the popular HS series, the HS35. The new Corsair HS35 stereo gaming headset is said to offer custom tuned audio and be comfortable for long periods with a durable lightweight construction, sporting plush memory foam cushioning plus adjustable headband and ear cups. This new Discord-certified headset is good for PC, Xbox One*, PS4, Switch and mobile, says Corsair. (*May require Microsoft 3.5mm adapter (sold separately)).

Corsair is making the HS35 available in a choice of four colours; Carbon, Green, Blue, and Red. That selection should match a wide range of PCs and gaming console colours. Inside the headset ear-cups are custom-tuned 50mm neodymium speaker drivers that can reproduce audio waveforms between 20Hz to 20kHz. Corsair says the headphone sensitivity is 113dB (+/-3dB), and the impedance is 32 Ohms @ 1kHz.

The boom mic is detachable and is of the unidirectional noise cancelling type. This mic has frequency response of 100Hz to 10kHz, a sensitivity of -40dB (+/-3dB), and impedance of 2.2k Ohms.

Corsair says that the HS35 is designed "to stand up to years of intense gaming, as well as the long-lasting comfort to keep you sharp no matter how long you're on the battlefield." There is a two year warranty to back this statement up as the bare minimum. And it should be comfortable to wear for extended periods, as mentioned in the intro. For convenience the headset has on-ear volume and mute controls, placed on the left ear cup, so you can adjust these parameters easily while keeping your hand on the mouse and in the action (righties).

The new Corsair HS35 stereo gaming headset is available immediately through your usual Corsair reseller or direct from the company website. Here in the UK the price for any colour is £39.99 or €44.99 if paying in Euros.

Clearly you're one of them old people who probably still works for a living and doesn't have more than 20,000 followers on Tweeter…. innit!
The same service with terribad audio quality for small servers, unless you're paying hundreds of dollars a year?

I'm surprised with how basic the audio analysis is. Audio replayed over speakers shouldn't have pop - that's a feature of the human vocal tract, and you'd really have to try to get an audio waveform after playing through a speaker to not look like it started (I'd really want to see some kind of frequency analysis there before declaring the audio “good”)
