Conclusion

Such improvements elevate the reviewed Edison M 750W to amongst the best 80 PLUS Gold supplies around.

Fractal's foray into mainstream PSU excellence is represented by the Edison M range of supplies. The company has taken a clever approach here by using the much-praised Seasonic G-series design but improved the overall package by implementing a fluid-bearing fan, superior cabling and a complimentary styling look to other products in the Fractal range.

Such improvements elevate the reviewed Edison M 750W to amongst the best 80 PLUS Gold supplies around, though sticklers for fully-modular cabling - usually readers who prefer ultra-clean builds - are likely to be nonplussed by some captive cabling.

But if you can live Fractal's hybrid-modular approach, which is a by-product of Seasonic's design, then the Edison M 750W, priced substantially lower than the G-750 it is based upon, ticks a lot of the right boxes. Recommended.

The Good

The Bad
Excellent platform
Improved cabling, fan and styling
Above average performance
Cheaper than the Seasonic G-750

It seems like a generic PSU unit, I couldn't trust them and buy it.I don't like semi modular unit, although to be fair I chose a cooler master g series for a budget gaming rig I built for a friend personally I wouldn't pay for one.
