Conclusion

...a true ambidextrous mouse whose button layout is easily optimised for either left- or right-handed use.

The Corsair M55 RGB Pro is a true ambidextrous mouse whose button layout is easily optimised for either left- or right-handed use.

We imagine the form factor is a dream come true for ambidextrous households, however while the mouse works well as a nimble and lightweight solution, it inevitably isn't as comfortable as a more sculpted alternative.

Bottom line: in an ideal world we'd want ergonomic mice to be produced in both lefty and righty flavours, but for now the likes of the M55 RGB Pro serve as a useful stopgap.

The Good

The Bad
Properly ambidextrous
Lightweight at 86g
Decent build quality
Precise optical sensor

Opposing thumb buttons a distraction
Main body feels coarse

These things never fit all, as the side buttons are so easy to catch with the 3rd finger… or 4th, if you're a three-fingered mouser.
