Packard Bell will refund the cost of the Windows 8 Upgrade for their qualifying PCs, for customers who buy new Windows 7 PCs from 1st October 2012 until 31st January 2013.

The promotion applies to all eligible EasyNote notebooks, imedia or ixtreme desktops and on oneTwo all-in-ones, originally purchased with Windows® 7 Home Basic, Windows Home Premium, Windows 7 Professional, or Windows 7 Ultimate purchased between 1st October 2012 until 31st January 2013. End-user customers will redeem via Packard Bell sponsored fulfilment house. The online submission form for this refund will be accessible from Packard Bell's website (www.packardbell.com/windows8upgrade). The application period opens from Windows 8 General Availability date to 15th March 2013. When the submission page goes live, Packard Bell PC buyers will have to submit their contact details, the Microsoft Customer Order Number, theirPackard Bell product serial number and attach a copy (screen shot or scan for example) of their Upgrade Confirmation email from Microsoft and PC receipt of purchase.
