Console owners beware... its F.E.A.R.

HEXUS.E3 It could possibly be the game to take advantage of the Xbox 360’s graphics power… F.E.A.R. has already done the rounds on the PC and personally, I loved it. Well now the console boys (and girls) can get dose of the F.E.A.R. heebie jeebies when it hits the Xbox 360.

Having had a good play on Xbox 360 F.E.A.R. at E3 2006, we were quietly impressed with the look and feel of the game overall. It has to be said that I’m utterly pants aiming with a joypad but F.E.A.R. didn’t seem to be too bad so you can expect some awesome deathmatching in the new multiplayer levels.

The single player game has had an overhaul too with new content especially for the Xbox 360 version. Perhaps now we’re seeing a PC game being developed for the Xbox 360 we can finally see how the PC and Xbox 360 measure up to each other?

lol! E3 2996 :) nice review though, I don't like FPSs on consoles but I'll prob still get it :D
I have no idea what you're talking about…:embarrassed:
Im looking forward to this one.
The texture quality seems to be lowered in the X360 screenies..

I remmeber FEAR PC looked much sharper, at least on the texture side of things.. check out the players sleeves (when holding the weapon), in the PC version you actually see the cloth cuttings clearly.. So is the badges and kevlars on the enemies.. Its like they're running on low quality textures just to keep it running over 60fps..
Maybe, but Microsoft only stipulate a minimum framerate of 30 fps for Xbox 360 games.

It's still in development, so it could be that texturing isn't finalised yet.

I'll speak to Vivendi on Monday and try and find out.
