Toshiba has launched two fresh lines of enterprise-class HDDs today, with a 15K RPM spindle speed, all tucked into a 2.5in package.

A specifications table for both 147GB and 300GB offerings can be seen above, and both utilise 6Gbps SAS connectivity, plus are said to be the ideal fit for data intensive applications - such as high-end servers and storage arrays.
The MKxx01GRRR SKUs additionally include Toshiba's self-encrypting drive (SED) technology, and the new lines are all set to become available in Q1 2012.
