Economical 370W, 420W, and 500W Silencers now available

OCZ Technology Group, a California-based manufacturer of performance memory and PC components, today announced the release of four power supplies under its PC Power & Cooling brand.

The PSUs, all part of PC Power & Cooling's Silencer line, include 370W, 420W and 500W offerings for mainstream system builders at an affordable price. We'll have to wait and see just how affordable they are as no official pricing has yet been announced but expect them to pop up on PC Power's official store any moment now. Completing the new line-up is a specialised 500W Dell-compatible model, allowing Dell owners an easy upgrade.

All of the new Silencer PSUs are designed with a single +12 Volt Rail and are certified under the 80+ efficiency program.

Doug Dodson, founder of PC Power & Cooling and CTO of Power Management for the OCZ Technology Group said:

"I am pleased that PC Power & Cooling is able to offer exceptional Silencer series performance and reliability at such an affordable price point. The Silencer line now offers every type of computer user an option for the premium power management of their system."

PC Power suggests that lower wattage configurations provide enough power for most desktop computing setups, and its new PSUs will ensure we consumers don't end up paying more for higher wattage units that "would be overkill for a modern mainstream system". It states that even at peak loads, the Silencer's are true to their name and remain virtually silent, making them ideal for media PCs.

As with all Silencer PSUs, these come complete with a five year warranty. Head on over to the official product pages (links below) to get the complete tech specs.
