So we've told you a lot about the upcoming R600 GPU, but what are its product codenames?
Ear to the ground, we've got some R600 codenames for you, then. Oh, and how about a bit of R700 too?
OK then. The R600 XTX part is known to some as "Dragon's Head", while the XT part is "Cat's Eye". Nice. Any guesses for the XL part? "UFO", you say? Correct!
Drumroll please for R700... Wekiva. The egg heads among you will note that Wekiva is a lake in the USA. Picturesque.
And finally, a bit more availability info for you. While "Dragon's Head" and "Cat's Eye" will be available at R600 launch, we'll be waiting for an extra thirty days before "UFO" comes flying in.
