CeBIT 2005: BIOSTAR showcases new concept for the SLIM LIVING ROOM PC

9th March 2005, CeBIT/ Hanover – BIOSTAR Microtech Int’l Corp. a leading supplier of computer products, proudly announced today a new concept for a SLIM LIVING ROOM PC at CeBIT 2005. The newly design concept involves the development and production of slim and particularly silent PC, Multimedia and Entertainment system solutions for the living room.

"The cube, as we all know it from many other vendors and BIOSTAR itself, isn’t out of fashion.", as Jason Han, Marketing Manager with BIOSTAR in Taiwan comments the new concept design. "There are just plenty of people in the world who prefer slim and fashion design PC systems for the living room. Some of those highly potential target users won’t care too much about performance and may use only simple applications like eMail, watching DVD, listening to mp3 files, word processing or spreadsheets and Internet browsing."

BIOSTAR is currently developing a series of slim living room PC system. A first concept design is displayed at CeBIT 2005. The new slim living room PC system from BIOSTAR will be available at the turn of the year of 2005/2006. With the new era of living room PC system, BIOSTAR hopes to open new markets and targets additional user groups in the IT Entertainment market.
