PRESS RELEASE

  • Full-tower, tempered glass case with US$120 retail price
  • Includes 4 ARGB Edge fans and 10-port controller hub

TAIPEI, TAIWAN – Like a dark monolith, the flagship of Aerocool’s new RGB case family – the Tor Pro – towers above the rest. Literally.

Many Ways to RGB

Like the rest of the feature set common to Aerocool’s affordable roundup of new RGB boxes, the Tor Pro is heavy on looks and ships with a heap of supersized perks for the price. It comes with two tempered glass panels on the side and front, and four 14-cm addressable RGB (ARGB) Edge fans, one of Aerocool’s new case fan models. All of those 6-pin fans plug into the 10-port PWM controller hub that in turn can connect to the motherboard via 3-pin ARGB headers. Using compatible motherboard software would allow you to program all of the included lights down to the node, or you can simply use the included remote control or the I/O to toggle lighting presets.

Inside the Glass Monolith

For the supersized part: It’s tall enough to fit a 480mm liquid radiator on the front bracket, long enough to fit any graphics card and E-ATX motherboards, and wide enough to fit the tallest CPU coolers or accommodate vertical graphic card mounts. A vertically mounted PSU chamber on the top creates extra room for up to 12x 120mm fans, including bottom mounts for additional graphics card cooling. Depending on the size of the motherboard, storage supports up to 2 x 3.5” HDDs and 4 x 2.5” HDDs/SSDs. The front I/O panel provides ample connectivity with 2 x USB 3.0, 2 x USB 2.0, HD audio and mic ports, and a button to toggle LED lighting presets.

The case will retail for US$120, though pricing may vary by region.

“RGB Heroes” Social Media Contest with US$10K Prize Pool

March 18th also marks the launch of a US$10K prize pool contest and a chance to win a customized version of the Klaw or one of its RGB brethren.
