The teasing is almost over and Motorola is on the verge of revealing its new smartphone, the Motorola Razr, but not before leaving us with a couple of promos to whet our appetites, in the form of a teaser trailer and the first decent photo of the Android-enabled device.

After seeing so many blurry shots of the device, it’s great to see the Razr in all its glory, sporting a lightweight case and showing proof of its 1080p credentials with a tiny sticker located on the casing.

Motorola is set to unveil the Razr in full later today, with a launch event being held in Berlin tomorrow, where we’ll no doubt hear about UK release date and pricing.

The Droid Razr may come packed with Ice Cream Sandwich, the updated Android operating system, and is rumoured to sport a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and an 8-megapixel camera capable of shooting HD video.

A teaser trailer, which only really serves to remind us of the Razr’s tag-line “Faster. Thinner. Smarter. Stronger” has also launched on the official site.

The official unveiling of the Motorola Razr takes place at 8pm BST tonight, October 18th.

I would expect the next Nexus to be a Motorola, I guess by the time this acquisition went through, Samsung were already under contract to build the Nexus Prime.
Why are they reusing the name Razr? It immediately reminds me of that godawful flip phone I had that fell apart after a year…
i think that looks awesome… my upgrade time is going to be interesting :D
My wife still has a Razr.

I think. She's not really into phones. It's a flip. Not the tiny one they did, but the bigger one.
