Activision has finally confirmed the existence of a new Golden Eye 007 game which will launch this Autumn on Xbox 360 and PS3.

GoldenEye 007: Reloaded will be built on a brand new engine and will feature the ability to play using the PlayStation Move with Sharp Shooter peripheral In addition to the story campaign, the game introduces the brand new ‘Mi6 Ops Missions’ – new, distinct levels separate from the campaign that span the varied environments from the story and challenge players to complete different Assault, Elimination, Stealth and Defence objectives.

Multiplayer will include four-player split-screen action and 16-player online matches with more maps, weapons, characters and game modes than ever before.

"Promising to be one of the most immersive and interactive Bond games to date, this is an outstanding opportunity for PlayStation fans to experience one of the most iconic and action-packed shooters in an all new way with PlayStation Move and the Sharp Shooter peripheral,” said Rob Dyer, Senior Vice President, Sony Computer Entertainment of America. “By bringing together GoldenEye 007: Reloaded, and PlayStation Move’s Sharp Shooter, we are continuing to expand the new world of motion-based entertainment appealing for hardcore fans and only possible on PlayStation.”

awesome….
What no PC release? :(
The free mod for HL Engine is pretty good. Golden Eye: Source i think its called
Has potential but isn't this actually a remake of the remake that was made for the wii? Rather than a remake of the “true” Goldeneye that we all know and love? (not at all confusing :D)

could be great or could be dire like every single bond game since Goldeneye..so i'll reserve judgement. If its true to the N64 original though i'll definitely be picking this up!
hopefully will be good and hope they release on PC
