Microsoft releases new Xbox 360 controller

Microsoft has released a brand new official Xbox 360 controller that comes in a limited edition matte silver colour and sports a transforming d-pad.

According to the official product information, the wireless controller features a premium button design, while the the d-pad transforms from a plus shape to a disc.

The Xbox 360 Silver Wireless Controller also comes complete with a Play and Charge kit to save on batteries. The controller isn't due for release until March in the U.K, but a quick scout about online reveals that you can already pick it up from various online retailers for anywhere between £40-£60.

The point of this is what? Wow a rotating D-pad…what the hell will that give to anyone! Why don't they work on creating a better console instead of trying to milk the dirtbox…..

I thought that. I saw a few people raving about it who think it will be good for fighting games like Street Fighter.
