Square Enix has confirmed that three new RPGS will be hitting Europe, starting with Infinite Discovery, which will be available on 5th September.

Next in line will be The Last Remnant, due for release at the close of 2008 and finally Star Ocean: The Last Hope, which will be released at the beginning of 2009.

Infinite Undiscovery is a collaborative project with the development studio tri-Ace. The fantasy RPG will feature real-time action with no separate battlefields from the main gameplay environment. It will show various situations unfold in a world that changes in real time, with players’ choices leading to “unknown discoveries.” Ooohh.

Little information has been revealed on Star Ocean: The Last Hope but the latest issue of Famitsu has revealed that the game will feature more of a sci-fi emphasis than past with the ability to control your own ship. It's been said this ship is quite large, and will be able to land on at least 5 planets or other space-based destinations. The game will have more science fiction feel to it, and we'll be able to travel through "a star ocean," jumping across planets.

Finally, The Last Remnant is a completely original RPG title set in a realtime fantasy world. The game's battle system has been carefully crafted to deliver what Square Enix say will be "a brand-new experience for gamers, as they control forces in massive battles between up to seventy different units at once." Today's Square Enix press conference also featured a demonstration of the game, showing off the dynamic world and sprawling landscapes of The Last Remnant.

The latest trailers and gameplay footage should be online shortly.
