It's been pretty easy to get caught up in all the Grand Theft Auto IV and Wii Fit madness this week, but some publishers are still determined to ignore two of the biggest releases of 2007 and take a gamble by releasing their own games this Friday.Good luck to them!

One of those is SEGA's Iron Man, an action adventure based on the Marvel super hero that pits you against unspeakable odds, and draws its story from the upcoming movie while also incorporating story elements from original Iron Man comic books.

By most accounts the film has gone down pretty well at the box office, scoring an average of 96% on movie critic site Rotton Tomatoes, so the game could well be better than most of the other awful movie-tie ins.

Don't you worry though, normal service will be resumed once GTA fever has settled down. We can look forward to Age of Conan, Haze, Rock Band, Top Spin 3 and Enemy Territory: Quake Wars all coming at the end of this month.

The only other games out today on console or PC are 'Ultimate Board Games' for Wii and 'Overclocked: A History of Violence'.
