A new take on an old franchise has been announced at E3 by Nintendo in the form of Donkey Kong Country, a new take on the 2-D side scrolling platform video game.

The original SNES version sold over 8 million copies wordwide so there's a lot of fans been waiting for its triumphant return. The trailer for the game, plus news that it will arrive later this year has so far got the biggest cheer from the audience at Nintendo's press conference.
