PSP Steps Up Another Gear

2006 International CES

PSP Vault have reported at CES that Sony were showing demonstrations of the PSP as a control unit for your entertainment system. According to the report the PSP controlled a video recorder, transmitted the video to a "Bravia" TV which can then be viewed with Sony's new Location Free software. The website reported that "while the demo was being conducted from a UMD, the support is also possible via a firmware update."

The PSP already boasts an excellent audio player, Wi-Fi connectivity, UMD movies, image storage and of course great games! The PSP is so much more than a hand held games console. What can we expect next from the PSP?, a flash based web browser hopefully.
