Sony announce the first PS3 titles
If you’re canny with Alta Vista’s Babelfish, you’ll be able to figure out just what goodies can be found on Sony’s Japanese Playstation website, www.playstation.jp. And what’s on there worth going to trouble of reading? Only the first titles that’ll appear on the PS3, that’s what.
The six titles are all listed as being working titles, ie, subject to alteration, name change and even obliteration, but what’s really interesting is that this is the first time Sony have actually confirmed anything for their next gen console with any sort of official endorsement.
The six titles are Gran Turismo Series; Everybody’s Golf 5; Genji 2, an action/fighter game; Monster Carnival, an action orientated RPG; Angel Rings, an RPG and a mysterious sounding The Eye Of Judgement which no-one seems to know much about. That some of these games won’t cross over to the Western market is likely, but there’s plenty of development outside of Japan going on to bring a fair few titles to the PS3.
As soon as we know more we’ll let you know.
