Renewed optimism for 2008
It's a lukewarm end of the year for Sony and despite having a disappointing 2007 in terms of PS3 sales they'll take encouragement from the recent mini-surge in sales and the critical success lauded on Uncharted Drake's Fortune, Warhawk and Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction.Sony will be banking on a profitable 2008 and will look at the new year with renewed optimism, hoping that success will be spurred on by their range of first party titles.
Sony has today released a list of these titles are set for release before the end of Spring. The date estimates are for the US only.

Playstation boss, Jack Tretton recently admitted that Sony has had a poor year in terms of sales, but he also said that the slow start is "hardly cause for panic". "The first year is important, but it's the first inning of a nine-inning baseball game," he said. "You're not going to win many baseball games if you panic when you're down 1-0 in the first inning."
