Benchmarks

Starting with the essentials, here are some shots from CPU-Z of the system spec used for benching these dual GPU beauties. Note that both CPU and RAM are running at stock.

Device manager will remain cryptic to most, but there are definitely two 6800 series GPUs in there. Despite the name, the system is definitely not running Linux.

3DMark was run through on both cards at default settings and then at 1280x1024 with 4x Antialiasing and 16x Anisotropic Filtering with all quality settings in the device driver set to maximum. We also ran the EN6800GT through overclocked to ULTRA speeds. Check out the results...

ASUS EN6800 Ultra - 3DM2K5 Default Settings

ASUS EN6800 Ultra - 3DM2K5 - 1280x1024, 4xFSAA, 16xAF

ASUS EN6800GT - 3DM2K5 Default Settings

ASUS EN6800GT - 3DM2K5 - 1280x1024, 4xFSAA, 16xAF

ASUS EN6800GT - 3DM2K5 - 1280x1024, 4xFSAA, 16xAF - Clocked to ULTRA speeds

Not really.

Slashdot gets millions of visitors… and about 80 of them have actually posted a comment. Most of the folks moaning have nothing better to do on a Sunday, plus some of them don't know what they're talking about. Also some don't seem to appreciate that this isn't an in-depth review… which it quite clearly isn't and doesn't try to be.

I don't take this to heart, honest. :P :)
I have just had a gander- it was a few comments which peopl ehave balanced out now ;)
