Flash-storage provider Super Talent has been hard at work with ideas for creating the "ultimate executive gift" and it has managed to come up with a solid-gold USB flash drive.

The all-bling drive, pictured below, is an 8GB Pico-C drive housed in 18-carat solid gold. Priced at $599, Super Talent tells us it makes for "an eloquent corporate gift" and the drive will be available to order for a limited time only.

It's excessively fancy-looking, and if you're after a sure-fire method of getting someone mugged, this as a gift could be it.

All jokes aside, the solid gold Pico-C comes with a serialised certificate of authenticity, an 18-carat gold keychain, AES-256 encryption software, a black velvet jewelry box, and the option to have a message etched onto the drive at no extra cost.

So, who's getting one?

Ideal for all those people at BP who will be getting £1,000,000,000 bonuses.

In case the government are wondering where all the money has gone: Look! The Petrol companies have got it!

Going OT here, but that will be precisely zero people then.

And at least BP are a UK based company paying UK taxes. Yes they made £6.4bn this quarter, but think of how much tax has been payed on that, one hell of a lot. Oh, and only a tiny percentage of that profit comes from the sale of petrol and diesel.
