ECS have today launched their range of mainstream, DirectX 10 compatible, graphics cards based on NVIDIA's G84 and G86 Graphics Processing Units (GPUs).

Powered by derivatives of NVIDIA's G80 GPU, the ECS GeForce 8600 and 8500 series of graphics cards provide support for Windows Vista, whilst featuring the DirectX 10 compatible unified shader architecture, as well as full 128Bit HDR+FSAA support.

ECS deliver three SKUs, ranging from the N8600GTS-256MX+, powered by the 80nm G84 GPU and pre-overclocked to 720MHz/2200MHz with 1.0ns GDDR3 onboard memory, to the N8500GT-256DY+ which, powered by NVIDIA's G86 GPU, has core clock speeds of 500MHz, together with 2.5ns GDDR2 memory clocked at 860MHz.

ECS also cites that their solutions release the full potential of NVIDIA’s PureVideo HD and H.264 hardware acceleration features and HD decoding technologies, to provide perfect 1080P full HD Video effect.
