EU and US availability

Here's how Radeon HD 4770 availability and pricing is presently shaping up in Europe:

Euro Market

etailerProductAvailabilityPrice (inc. VAT)
Alternate.de HiS Radeon HD 4770 Pre-order €99.90
MSI Radeon HD 4770 In stock €99.90
PowerColor Radeon HD 4770 In stock €94.90
Sapphire Radeon HD 4770 In stock €99.90
  Club3D Radeon HD 4770 Pre-order €99.90
XFX Radeon HD 4770 In stock €99.90
  GIGABYTE Radeon HD 4770 Pre-order €99.90

As with the UK, there's decent supply from a number of ATI partners. The cheapest in-stock card at Alternate.de - PowerColor's Radeon HD 4770 - is listed at €94.90, almost exactly matching its UK asking price.

Elsewhere, we find all other cards priced at €99.90 - that's roughly £90 and slightly more than UK consumers can expect to pay.

Over in the US, popular etailer NewEgg.com has four cards listed as currently in stock:

US Market

etailerProductAvailabilityPrice (exc. localised charges )
NewEgg.com Sapphire Radeon HD 4770 In stock $109.99
HiS Radeon HD 4770 In stock $109.99
PowerColor Radeon HD 4770 In stock $109.99
GIGABYTE Radeon HD 4770 In stock $109.99

With each card priced at $109.99, US customers will be paying in the region of £75 + TAX. It's worth noting, also, that NewEgg.com is currently offering a $10 mail-in rebate on the Sapphire, HiS and PowerColor cards, bringing the potential price down to $99.99.

In summary, consumers looking to make day-one purchases should have no difficulty in finding a Radeon HD 4770. UK consumers, shop around and the card can be yours for under £80.
