UK availability

If you've read the HEXUS review, you'll know that the arrival of ATI's Radeon HD 4770 has raised the bar in the sub-£100 graphics-card market. So much so that forum reader DeludedGuy states "I've found my graphics card to be" and gaz12 adds "think i might treat myself at this price".

We can't blame them, as the card is indeed a tasty prospect - even more so when you consider that two could be configured in CrossFire for less money than a single Radeon HD 4890.

As always, we're now following up our review to provide would-be buyers with a close look at launch-day availability and pricing. In the market for a Radeon HD 4770? Here's what you might find today:

As with the recently-launched Radeon HD 4890, ATI's Radeon HD 4770 is readily available on launch day - albeit in what appears to be somewhat limited quantities.

At the time of writing, SCAN.co.uk has cards available from XFX, PowerColour and GIGABYTE, of which the cheapest card (XFX) is priced at £85.65. The HEXUS-examined alternative from HiS, priced lower at £83.93, is currently out of stock but we're told that additional units will be made available by the end of the week.

Over at Ebuyer.com, there's ample availability of Sapphire's Radeon HD 4770 - priced at a tidy sum of £79.67. Good news for launch-day shoppers in the UK, but how about pricing in Europe and the US? Head on over to page two for an up-to-date comparison.
