HiS has today announced its faster-ever single-GPU graphics card, the HiS HD 4870 IceQ 4+.

The card, pictured below, takes AMD's Radeon HD 4870 GPU and equips it with HiS' custom IceQ 4+ cooling. The latest revision of the cooling solution promises an increase in its ability to transfer thermal energy, and the result is significant out-the-box speeds.

The HiS HD 4870 IceQ 4+ ships with a core frequency of 770MHz, and it's packing 1GB of GDDR5 clocked to 4,000MHz. There's no mention of specific temperatures, but HiS global marketing director Peter Yeung claims the card "delivers gamers a triple-advantage of faster, cooler and quieter in-game performance".

If you're scratching your head about the card's luminous appearance, that's because it's coated with UV-reactive artwork.

HiS expects the card to be available from the likes of Microdirect, Novatech, Scan and YOYOTech for a suggested retail price of £195.

sounds ike a very reasonable pricepoint for it :)
I've just spent £150 on a 4850 IceQ turbo this make me sad :stupid:
That “UV sensitive” bit panders to my vanity. I like UV components…

Edit: Oh, and it's blue.
