OCZ RAM: XTC
We also took a little look at OCZ's latest RAM products. They've launched a new set of RAM modules featuring their new heatspreaders, which they've called XTC (Xtreme Thermal Convection.) The idea is that the honeycomb allows air to move through the module to reduce heat build up. Well it's that or to make them look swish, we're not entirely sure which.
Modules come in gold, platinum and titanium editions, with varying data rates and latencies, and XTC heatspreaders in colours to suit their model names, naturally. OCZ has both DDR and DDR2 gaming RAM with the new heatspreaders, offering low latency gaming RAM to both Intel and AMD users.
