CA, USA, July 21, 2003 Unex, the professional networking manufacturer of wireless LAN, broadband router, and networking hardware for Home, Small office/Home office (SOHO) and small/mid-size businesses (SME), today announced shipment of 2.4GHz/54Mbps 802.11g products to consumers through worldwide partners. Designed to fully compliant with the IEEE 802.11g standard, the available products consist a PC card (model name MR054g), PCI adapter (model name CR054g), and Access Point (model name HR054g).
The new 802.11g wireless products provide Unex’s customers with ample wireless bandwidth to achieve better performance such as video streaming, transferring large files and real-time computer gaming. With speed up to 54Mbps and operating on the same 2.4GHz frequency band as 802.11b, these new generation 802.11g wireless LAN solutions completely interoperable with existing Wi-Fi certificate 802.11b nodes currently in service.
