X1650 gets two new coolers.

A completely passive Radeon X1650 Pro was also on display. It's cooled by double-sided heatsinks that are connected via an 8mm heatpipe. The finned section on the back provides enough surface area to dissipate the heat produced by ATI's popular (but hot-running) midrange SKU without the need for any additional cooling. The underlying PCB is the same as Sapphire's regular X1650 Pro, so it'll be reference clocked and support the usual gamut of ATI features, including Avivo and CrossFire.

Sapphire also has plans to passively cool its X1650 XT card. Before that, however, it's releasing a very slightly tweaked cooler for its 'XT variant, promising lower noise at full load.

Things have gone quiet from the company formerly known as ATI. Sapphire, it seems, is trying its best to invigorate its line-up by releasing a number of special edition SKUs that offer meaningful differentiation from the reference models.
