Samsung is bundling an entertainment package with the Wave II handset until 31 March including five of the most popular paid-for apps from Gameloft and EA games, available from Samsung Apps. The bundle includes: Need for Speed: Shift, FIFA 10, Monopoly, Tetris and Assassin's Creed: Altair's Chronicles.

"Following the phenomenal success of our first high-end Wave handset last year, we wanted to take the smartphone experience we offer our customers a step further," said Simon Stanford, MD of  Mobile, Samsung UK and Ireland.

"With our Social Hub, it's now even easier for people to share content such as photos and videos with their social networks. And they'll also benefit from the growing popularity of our App store via the new gaming bundle we are offering," he added.

The Wave II is available from O2 and Phones4U. Here are some images of the new handset.

As commented on many reviews on this phone… Why the heck have Samsung bothered to continue with Bada when they have a Android phone for every occasion….

Waste of money making or releasing this phone Samsung.
my thought was that it was because samsung wanted a two tier platform like nokia, where one advanced and resource heavy platform is used for high-end smartphones (meego) and a slower lighter platform to cover cheap ‘feature’ phones (symbian).

however, bada appears to be a high-end phone………..

and samsung don't have QT to unify the development on two different platforms.

i am confused.
