Arguably, depending on which side of the fence you sit on when it comes to loving or loathing the multi-million selling Halo series, Microsoft saved its best till last for this year’s E3 press conference, revealing Halo 4, the first game in a new trilogy for Master Chief et al.

It’s too early for Microsoft to let the E3 hordes loose on some actual gameplay, but we do have the official announcement trailer to tease you with ahead of its release this Christmas.

Microsoft also announced that Halo Combat Evolved anniversary will launch next year, and will boast new co-op missions, enhanced graphics and Xbox Live multiplayer. Just when you thought you'd seen the back of Halo too!

Personally - i really enjoy the halo games so its a definite from me
It would be nice if Halo 3 was released for the PC at some point. The first game was fun but I didn't bother with the second one as it would have pointless.
Halo 4 is next year…

CAT-THE-FIFTH

I am not holding my breath but would have loved the whole series to be PC as well. I am not much of a console fan and the last thing I would ever play on one is a FPS :(

You would have thought that Microsoft would have wanted it on their OS, showing off the latest DX stuff……but it's obviously not a big enough market for them to bother with anymore. We can only hope that the new XBox and PS take a long time to hit retail to increase the chances of a PC gaming resurgence.
