Two men from Kentucky would have been wise to stay in doors playing Duck Hunt, instead of heading for their local convenience store and attempting to rob it with the 20 year old light-gun, the NES Zapper.

Both men were sentenced to 10 years in jail on Monday charged with entering an Ameristop Food Mart, waving the toy gun at the clerk and demanding money. The pair made off with just $100, which incidentally is more than enough to upgrade their weapon to the Wii Zapper - which let's face is - is a far more intimidating weapon.

"Victims and police did not know the gun was a toy until after it was all over," said the prosecutors. "The defendants could have easily gotten themselves or innocent bystanders shot."

In all seriousness, don't do it kids, these guys got what they deserved.

Old-School retro weapon. It looks cool, but after 20 years, it's bound to lack accuracy.

Wii-Zapper is the weapon of the true gangster. It's Two handed and it packs a punch.

Hard to tell the diff. between an orange piece of plastic with a plug lead hanging from the but, and the latest H&K or Glock, still better to be safe.

Crime isn't clever, and neither are the criminals.

I like the comment from the police “He reportedly told the tech support operator he didn’t know how to operate a computer. Police said they believed they were looking for a Mac user.” From Dumb Criminals » Heck Support
