Mortal Kombat Advert Creates A Stir

Midway Games have been banned from using a controversial advert to promote Mortal Kombat - Shaolin Monks.

The clip, entitled 'Blood On The Carpet' takes place around a boardroom table and shows a fight breaking out. It also shows a man's heart being ripped out and decapitation.

The advert has been slammed by industry watchdogs.

The Advertising Standards Authority has said, "We considered (it) was likely to cause fear or distress and serious or widespread offence."

Now that is bloody classic. Best fighting game imho, wonder if theres any xbox 360 versions planned, would probably get one ift here was.
There is no way in hell they even tought that they were going to get away with that in the UK.
Now why can't I have meetings like that at work if 2 rivals came in on the same day to talk GPU's :D
