On Saturday October 26th, DS: London group, in partnership with the London Games Festival Fringe, will be attempting to beat a new world record for getting the most number of DS players together in a room.

With the central London event venue confirmed, all the group now needs to do is gather approximately 400-500 people of any age to attend the Guinness Book Of Record-approved event next month.

In order to break the record, which current stands at 381 people, each person at the event must simultanously play any game on their DS for 5 minutes.

The event will take place at the Rocket Center on Holloway Road and last approximately two hours.

"The event is also focused on getting a whole bunch of gamers from different walks of life and if we can get some other consoles setup for other stuff, great!" Joe Lee told HEXUS.gaming.

In order to register your interest please head over to DSLondonrecord.net who will send out more details on the event in due course.
