Following the launch of the world’s first 3D Quattron television at IFA 2010, Sharp has also announced the launch of a sleek addition to its 3D home cinema range, a brand new 3D capable Blu-ray player (BD-HP90S).

With its futuristic design, the BD-HP0S is slim enough to sit comfortably wherever you’ve got room for it. And its performance will remain the same no matter whether you place it vertically or horizontally. If you want to make a feature of it, BD-HP90S can even be mounted on your wall as a beautiful piece of gadget art.

BD-HP90S is available in the UK from November 2010. It will be priced at £379.99.

If you’re not quite ready for the 3D revolution yet, BD-HP90S will happily play regular 2D Blu-ray. Its wireless capabilities mean you can transfer your favourite movies, TV shows, music and pictures from your PC without the need for any annoying cabling.

Getting to grips with BD-HP90S is easy, as a new on-screen control panel from Sharp means basic functions such as play, pause, stop, rewind and fast forward can be controlled through any suitably equipped TV remote control, even if it’s from another manufacturer.

Sharp’s BD-HP90S is designed to perfectly complement its Quattron 3D TV range, and to provide an outstanding 3D home cinema experience. The 60” 3D Quattron TV (LE925) only is available in the UK from October 2010. It will be priced at £3,500. A full Quattron 3D line-up will follow in early 2011.
