Gamut and Colour Accuracy

A high refresh rate and adaptive framerate synchronisation are nice features to have, but they don't count for a lot if the underlying panel isn't up to scratch. Fortunately, Asus appears to have a good one on its hands. The manufacturer officially quotes 95 per cent DCI-P3 coverage, and we're seeing slightly more than that. Note that any score above 90 is deemed very good.

Out-the-box colour accuracy is another important characteristic, with a Delta-E of less than two considered good. Asus's score of 0.41 is both excellent and the best on show in our updated charts.
