Uniformity and Efficiency

Colour uniformity

We consider a colour variance of less than five to be very good. Almost top marks for Asus, with minimal deviation across the entire panel. An improvement over the rival Philips, though do be aware that uniformity can vary from one sample to the next.

Luminance uniformity

Luminance uniformity isn't as impressive, with a shift of over 10 per cent on the sides. Noticeable during daily use? Barely.

Power consumption is higher than expected for a monitor of this size, but nothing to worry about it in the grand scheme of things.
