Presentation, Bundle and Manual

Gigabyte's mainboard presentation style hasn't changed much in the last year or so. You get a dark coloured box with a space theme and some general presentation points on the board features. To my eyes, it'll stand out enough from the crowd on a store shelf.

Bundle

The bundle is plentiful and contains everything you need to get the board up and running using all the available features. You get the USB and FireWire I/O plate, two SATA data cables, a package of two PATA ribbons and a floppy cable and the digital output connector plate.

The cable needed for the last two speaker channels wasn't supplied in the review sample box, and it looks like it won't be in any retail sample either. A puzzling omission.

You get manuals for the mainboard, both RAID controllers and a quick-start sheet to get you going with the minimum of fuss. The driver CD contained recent drivers for the chipset and on-board peripherals and an auto installation feature lets you get everything installed without issue.
