BIOS

The BIOS is an AWARD version customised by Gigabyte. The BIOS has the usual options available, along with the usual system-specific options that are relevant to the CPU and memory installed.

CPU adjust

The photograph above has each option set to its respective maximum; up to 300MHz HTT, 100MHz AGP (fixed clock), 1.7V CPU Vcore, 0.3V+ on the chipset voltage from 1.5V default, 0.3V+ on the HT bus voltage and up to 2.7V Vdimm (0.2V+ on 2.5V default).

I'd have liked to have seen more voltage range for Vdimm, with the rest of the options offering fine range of adjustment.

Health monitor

There's also a basic health monitoring section where you can setup warning for temperature and control the CPU fan speed depending on temperature.

Gigabyte use CTRL+F1 to enable the hidden advanced options in their BIOSes. Doing so gives you the following.

Advanced settings

And upon entering the hidden section the memory timing adjustments and HT frequency adjust (amongst other things) make themselves known.

Memory timings

As for a working PCI/SATA host clock lock? You'll have to wait.
