As with the 8RDA+ the 8RGA+ does not really come with any bells and whistles. This makes the board look rather bare and un-cluttered when compared to some of its competition.



We have been informed that the only reason the southbridge will get warm is that within the MCP-T is the DSP which does the onboard sound.



The Northbridge heatsink remains the same. Although it is a very capable cooler with the voltage now adjustable more cooling will be needed to keep the Northbridge operating effectively. EPoX have been very sensible in maintain passive cooling as it ensures that the board can be run silently and overclockers can easily add a 40mm cooling fan without creating any physical damage. - A good all round solution.
