Expected price £120

Intel i925XE-based boards tend to be on the wrong side of £100 because motherboard manufacturers usually specify a whole host of additional features not usually present in the cheaper i915X range. EPoX's EP-5LWA+ tips the financial scales at around £120, making it one of the cheaper i925XE boards currently on the market. The price is reflected in EPoX's omission of discrete SATA/PATA RAID and wireless networking, which we've seen on competitors' boards, most notably on the Gigabyte GA-8AENXP-D and ASUS P5AD2-E Premium. Other expected i925XE features such as dual Gigabit LAN, 8-channel sound, and DDR2-533 support are all present. i925XE motherboards' feature-sets always look impressive on paper, and this one is no exception. Let's now evaluate EPoX's layout on the 5LWA+.
