Gainward CoolFX Powerpack! Ultra/2600

The card itself is obviously going to look a little different to the reference version, by virtue of a complete cooling solution swap-out.

A few key points are evident from the photograph above. Firstly the dual-Molex power is still present and correct, something you'd expect from the performance version of NVIDIA's new GPU sat underneath the water block.

You can also see the water block obviously extending out to cover the outlying GDDR DRAMs in the DRAM configuration. All eight DRAMs are actively cooled by the block. While I refrained from removing the block itself to show the contact patches, for fear of damaging it, Gainward confirm they actively cool all DRAMs.

It's secured to the card by means of a metal bracket on the rear.

You can see the inlet and outlet ports for the water block in the above photograph, along with the retention bracket.

Video output and dual-DVI mark out the connectivity options. No video in for this model of 6800 Ultra from Gainward, sadly. You kind of expect it on a £600 graphics accelerator, no?
