Sapphire Radeon X1900 XTX

Board

Sapphire, ATI's biggest AIB partner, are another company that do the red team's product range from top to bottom. Their X1900 XTX is yet another reference example, much like the GeCube and MSI on previous pages.

Sapphire change the branding on the heatsink shroud too. Woo! Looks like me in an Oakley Medusa, though, which might put buyers off.

The card runs at reference clocks (650/775), supports dual dual-DVI outputs and VIVO via a Rage Theater 200 IC (out of sight under the cooler) and requires 6-pin auxiliary power from your PSU.

Presentation and Bundle

Along with the usual board specs, Sapphire also let you know that the X1900 XTX is Crossfire compatible as the 2nd board, which is pretty cool.

No prizes for guessing the contents of the bundle.

Sapphire also make a decent stab at accuracy in their sheet about power requirements, so extra brownie points there, and the Sapphire Select game choice system is a good alternative to the usual old single game.
