MSI RX1900XTX-VT2D512E

Board

MSI are one of ATI's largest AIB partners, offering up one of everything that ATI spec out as official SKUs. The RX1900XTX-VT2D512E another reference example, much like the GeCube.

Hold up! Yes, MSI actually apply a sticker to the heatsink shroud! The comments about noise and DRAMs and things on the previous page apply here.

The card runs at reference clocks (650/775), supports dual dual-DVI outputs and VIVO via a Rage Theater 200 IC (out of sight under the cooler) and requires 6-pin auxiliary power from your PSU.

Presentation and Bundle

box

Medusa's half brother at a Bizzare photoshoot, yesterday, sells the product. All the relevant bits and bobs you need know are right there on the box, should you see one in a store.

The same cable and adaptor bundle as shipped with the GeCube is bundled with the MSI. On top of that you get some Cyberlink software for use with the VIVO hardware, a driver and utilities CD and a copy of Juiced (fun but nothing special in your reviewer's opinion).

box

Manuals are provided should you need a hand setting it up and you get a tasteful MSI case badge for your chassis. Cool.

It's the same bundle as the GeCube, really, just with a different (fairly old) game.
