On the right....

On the right-hand side we can see that approximately 80% of the side panel is meshed for improved thermal performance. With a small CM Stacker logo in the center, the fit of the panels on the chassis is very tight indeed.

We did struggle a little to get the panels on and off the chassis as it was quite hard to judge where the slots for the panels were due to the abnormal shape at the back of the panel.

With the panel removed we can see the simple tool-less mounts for the 5.25” bays on the left, including the space for the 4-in-3 module we mentioned earlier.

The build quality inside the Stacker 830 is superb, with high-quality aluminium used throughout and lots of strength throughout the chassis. It's relatively easy to see why it carries the near-£200 price-tag. Attention to detail is excellent.
