Performance

Define S2 and Vector RS share a familiar underlying steel frame and come equipped with three 140mm fans. It is no surprise to find that cooling performance is similar between the two cases; neither has any problem taming our eight-core, 16-thread AMD Ryzen 7 processor.

Graphics cooling performance hasn't changed a great deal, either. Do note that Vector RS was tested with the high-airflow top panel installed, and with the interior kept to its default storage-optimised layout.

The supplied fans are of good quality, ensuring ultra-quiet noise levels when idle. The steady hum of our test platform does become noticeable under load, though noise levels do fall to sub-38dB when the high-airflow top panel is swapped for the tempered glass.
