Performance

The two Deepcool chassis in our line-up are separated from the pack due to the nature of their pre-installed coolers. The 120 radiator in the Baronkase Liquid wasn't a match for our usual Fractal Design Celsius S24, but the 280 liquid cooler in New Ark 90 is more than capable. The octo-core Ryzen chip is very comfortable beneath Deepcool's water block.

New Ark 90 doesn't have a traditional front-to-back airflow path, but the quartet of 140mm fans must be doing a decent job of circulating clean air, as our Radeon RX 580 was able to keep to 70ºC when gaming.

Cooling performance is good, however there is a proviso in that the bundled fans can be deemed somewhat aggressive. They are keen to respond to heat with higher speeds and become quite vocal under load at stock settings - you may want to venture into BIOS to manually configure a fan curve that optimally balances performance and noise.
