Frontal impact – let there be light

When online communities talk about the Aurora series, one of the things that's often discussed is the built-in projection system.
What? Yes, really. But don't go thinking that this is some sort of HD 1080p playback on the side panel, it's rather more modest than that. An LED hidden in the underside of the front panel projects a blue light downwards onto the surface upon which the case sits.

The beam passes through a plastic panel with a reversed product logo - and that logo gets projected downwards. But the handy thing is that Gigabyte includes a spare blank panel, so you can project whatever obscenity you like onto the floor or desk!

Just pop-out the plastic plate and insert the spare that you've customised to your own design. Swapping the panel is ultra simple, just as the pic above suggests. Oh and if you look at the centre of area where the panel came from, you'll also see a little round thingy - that's the projection LED.

We like this feature. It's well implemented, simple to mod (tee hee!) and sets the 570 apart from everything else that's out there. Our problem, though, is that we need a steadier hand (and a better eye) to be able to colour in the plastic properly.
