Thecus has launched its latest storage solution, the N4800, one of the first Intel Atom N2700 based NAS.

Featuring 2GB DDR3, HDMI output and two USB 3.0 ports, the N4800 is designed to work without fans to reduce power consumption and noise.

The N4800’s HDMI output allows you to connect your NAS directly to your TV for device management, web browsing with Flash support, and HD video playback.

It also supports Android and iOS via its ThecusShare software, enabling users to manage it, upload and download data from their mobile device, as well as One Click Protection for backing up data quickly.

Impressive specs. I wonder how well this will stream media via its own HDMI port.
