Kingston has added the DataTraveler 109, to its line-up of USB flash drives.

Available in a choice of seven colours, the DataTraveler 109 family is offered in 8GB and 16GB capacities, and supports Kingston's urDrive software. urDrive's feature-set includes a built-in photo viewer, web browser and MP3 player. In addition, Kingston tells us that urDrive offers access to online backup, and games too.

Krystian Jaroszynski, Product Marketing Manager (Flash), at Kingston Technology said: "Kingston's DataTraveler 109 is a fashionable USB Flash drive that makes it fun to connect and share photos, music, videos and more with friends and family. Most USB Flash drives offer passive storage, which simply allows users to store and retrieve their data. urDrive offers engaged, active storage that allows users to easily access and organise files, view photos and even play music, all on the USB drive."

The DataTraveler 109 comes with a capless design and key loop, allowing users to attach the drive to a keyring or lanyard.

Just looking at the picture before reading the text, I thought these were interchangeable heatsink covers for a graphics card.
