If there's one thing that the device you're staring at all day should be, it's beautiful. ASUS has poured a bucket load of beauty into its Designo MS series of LCD monitors, to the extent that it's so hot, we're not sure we actually want to give one away... we want it... *sob*.

But that wouldn't be fair on you lovely people now, would it? So, we're (just about) willing to make the sacrifice. So what are we going to missing out on that one lucky winner will bask in? Well, just look:

Phwoar ASUS Designo MS ASUS Designo MS monitor

Inspired by the combination of straight lines and curves we programmers look at every day - binary - the Designo MS series have some exceptionally slick looks along with some nice specs.

The model we're giving away is the MS236, features of which include a 23" wide-screen that runs at 1920x1080 full HD, 2ms GtG response time, HDMI & D-sub inputs and a 50,000:1 contrast ratio.

You like? In that case, see if you can figure out the answer to this question:

The ASUS MS236 is part of the ASUS Designo Series of LCD Monitors, what was the influencing factor in the design of the MS Series?

  1. The binary states
  2. To bring beautiful design to the mainstream
  3. To create an original and aesthetic design to change the way LCD monitors are viewed

There's a clue on this page somewhere, in case you needed one. Fill out the entry form with your answer, and get your answer in before the closing date of 7th Jan 2010. Good luck everyone!

En-tard. Praise to Hexus for another great prize. Hopefully this time the winner will a forum member and posts their success.

Does anyone ever get the question wrong on these compos?
Shame the essential cheat-url seems to be broken now :(

Edit: or at least it is for me.
Oh baby, and I happen to need a new monitor but just haven't got round to considering buying yet because I don't have the moolahs. One of these would be sooo awesome and perfect it's not even funny.

edit: Btw Hexus you should do more competitions where you have to come up with a name or something to win. Because just as many people are going to see it when they visit the website but only forum members can enter and win and it encourages people to think about the product and answer too which I'm sure wouldn't hurt the sponsor. That would be awesome :D
One of these days I'm gonna win one of these competitions…. must be my turn by now :)
